Recently our client, National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), employed three integrated a2z solutions at their NADA Convention & Expo 2013 with great success. The seamless deployment of NADA’s iPad Photo Booth, the NADA Convention & Expo mobile app, and myNADA Planner offered NADA’s event participants robust networking, planning and promotional tools.
Attendees and exhibitors had the opportunity to show their appreciation for the event on the show floor with the ChirpE Photo Booth, branded as the NADA iPad Photo Booth. Visitors took their own picture, completed a testimonial and posted it to the NADA’s Facebook photo album – all in a matter of a few seconds. Participants could then like, tag and share their photos with their friends.
Smart pre-show marketing by NADA and a2z ensured that the event participants were aware of the NADA iPad Photo Booth going into and at the event. The Buzz feature in NADA’s mobile app also played a crucial role in alerting them to the location of and activities at the NADA iPad Photo Booth.There was a huge spike in ‘likes’ and awareness on NADA’s Facebook page in the days leading up to the show and especially when it kicked off, soaring from 438 ‘likes’ on the opening day of the show to a high of 1,138 ‘likes’ the final day of the show. And the viral nature of social media ensures that the photos uploaded to NADA’s Facebook Page album continues to generate buzz even after the conclusion of the successful event.
NADA’s attendees and exhibitors were offered access to the official mobile app for NADA Convention & Expo 2013, powered by a2z’s ChirpE Mobile & Social Media platform. The mobile app was available for iOS, Android and web-enabled handheld devices. The mobile app synced seamlessly in real time with myNADA Planner, enabling users to access their updated personalized expo plans and conference schedules along with educational handouts and scheduling tools across multiple devices.
NADA saw high adoption and utilization rates of the mobile app from event participants. A total of 9,855 users accessed the solution before and during the event. 5,501 users downloaded the native iOS app on their Apple devices (iPhone, iPad and iTouch) and 2,031 users accessed the native app for Android devices. An additional 2,323 users utilized the web version of the mobile app on internet enabled smartphones.

Leading up to the event exhibitors utilized myNADA Planner, powered by NetworkNow!, to introduce attendees to their products and services through online eBooths before they even traveled to the event. Exhibitors were able to connect with attendees via email and schedule onsite meetings. Attendees had the opportunity to research exhibitors and easily request onsite meetings.
