Congratulations to the IFT team on a successful IFT13 Annual Meeting + Food Expo! For IFT13, the show management leveraged two ChirpE products – ChirpE Photo Booth & ChirpE Attendee Acquisition Widget – to engage exhibitors and attendees using the web, mobile and social media. We are pleased to share that IFT13 witnessed considerable success with the deployment and utilization of these two products. The show organizers provided a fun and memorable experience to participants at the IFT iPad Photo Booth. In addition, they brought back the ChirpE Attendee Acquisition Widget (AAW), a free tool for their exhibitors to promote their IFT13 presence to their online prospects and website visitors.
The ChirpE Photo Booth solution is integrated with Facebook in real-time. Photos posted to a brand’s Facebook Page from the photo booth provide a significant viral boost to the brand’s presence. IFT experienced tangible growth in their social network reach and engagement due to ChirpE Photo Booth. The infographic above shows IFT’s key ROI markers from their Facebook Insights. IFT’s overall Facebook reach increased more than 25%, post reach increased more than 40%, and engagement increased more than 50% during the week of the show in comparison to the week before.
IFT offered their exhibitors free access to the ChirpE Attendee Acquisition Widget again this year. The Attendee Acquisition Widget, is an interactive widget that show managers can leverage to promote their event to their exhibitors’ web site visitors. Exhibitors embed the widget on their own company websites so that their web visitors can see their listing and add them to their personalized plans.
IFT’s Attendee Acquisition Widget received an outstanding 600,000 plus views from exhibitor’s websites, almost double the results IFT received last year. This traffic resulted in 647 clicks to the event website, 463 clicks to the registration site and 439 exhibitors were added to individual’s expo plans.
