The trade show industry relies on strong attendee engagement to deliver high ROI for exhibiting companies. Engaging attendees is sometimes easier said than done. Earlier this year, I attended National Restaurant Association’s NRA Show 2013 and loved one smart exhibitor’s well planned strategy for really engaging attendees.
Do a little song and dance! Long Range Systems’ booth personnel took this literally and did a little dance in their booth to draw attendees’ attention to their booth. I was amazed by the energy and enthusiasm the LRS team exuded even on the last day at the show. It was also interesting to see how successful the energetic dancing at the booth was in making the passing by attendees stop to take a second look, and even join in the dancing.
Check out this video to see their ‘swinging’ strategy in action. I recorded it on my iPhone, hence the home grown quality for which I apologize in advance.
In addition, LRS leveraged the NRA Show Photo Booth, powered by Pixe, to spread the word about their booth and dancing fun on social media. This brought in an interesting digital mix to their onsite booth promotion strategy and the buzz generated thus helped to carry it into their post show attendee engagement.
