It was a busy September at the San Francisco Convention Center as thousands of safety, health, and environmental professionals packed the halls for the 2014 National Safety Council (NSC) Congress & Expo. Widely regarded as “The Event” for safety professionals, the NSC Congress & Expo hosted over 14,000 attendees and 900 exhibitors.
All exhibitors had access to a free Attendee Acquisition Widget (AAW) available from their exhibit console. This powerful promotional tool allowed exhibitors to showcase their attendance at NSC Congress & Expo from their website, directing web traffic to their online eBooth profile on the expo site. These eBooth profiles offer exhibitors a chance to showcase their company, and pinpoint their location on the expo show floor.
This year, the AAW widget was seen by an astounding 764,911 users across all exhibitors’ websites who had the widget installed leading to an increase in exhibitor exposure to attendees, on and off the show floor. Even more impressive, exhibitors who leveraged their widget saw an average of 8 pre-show leads per exhibitor, gaining a significant advantage over those not using the widget.
