Could you please tell us a little bit about the upcoming SISO Leadership Conference? How does it tie in with SISO’s long-term mission for the event industry?
Audrain: SISO’s mission, is to meet the common needs of our members, by providing peer networking opportunities, education, industry information, streamlined business processes and best practices in the industry. To deliver on that mission we produce two of the industry’s leading conferences each year, the SISO CEO Summit in the Spring, and the SISO Leadership Conference in the Summer.
Who should attend the 2016 Leadership Conference and why?
Audrain: The SISO Leadership Conference is attended by people that are in senior management roles within SISO members, from Show Directors to top executives, the program is developed to deliver up-to-date information from industry leaders with hands-on experience.

What other exciting projects is the SISO team working on for 2016-2017?
Audrain: SISO’s membership continues to expand every year, and is growing internationally, as well as within North America. SISO’s membership represents the majority of the largest for-profit show organizers in the world, and a great many small and growing entrepreneurial event organizers. SISO members recently gained access to several new member benefit programs, including discounted Event Cancellation and Business Insurance programs, and HR Consulting Services. We will also be launching several new Special Interest Groups over the next year, to allow SISO Members’ staff to get more directly involved in their own specific fields and needs.
