We are delighted to share that a2z has been recognized as one of the 2016 Top Workplaces by the Baltimore Sun Media Group! The Top Workplaces companies are recognized based solely on surveys about the workplace completed by their employees.

For the last few years we have heard a lot about attendee engagement and different tactics and strategies, both fun and serious, to keep attendees engaged on and off the show floor. The idea is to make sure an experience like no other is created to keep them coming back year after year. It is a grand ol’ idea and one that has worked for many years. As with anything, times change and events must evolve and keep innovating to stay relevant.
With that, I pose an age old question to you, What is more crucial to the overall success of your event – attendee engagement or attendee ROI? I think with all of the buzz around attendee engagement, we tend to overlook why the attendees are really there. Think about it this way, for a business professional, which event has more value: an event that has a treasure hunt or cash machine that makes the experience just a little more fun, or an event that helps her make new business contacts and get tangible ROI. Of course the latter, but that does not mean show organizers cannot blend both at their events.
How do you bring serious business and fun attendee engagement together? By employing multiple technologies that can support such an endeavor.
Networking, Matchmaking and Scheduling
At ASAE we will be showcasing our Connect platform where attendees and exhibitors can match make at their events and put together a strategic ROI driven plan around their personalized event. This matchmaking is done through a sophisticated algorithm (our secret sauce of course) that looks at multiple facets of the exhibitors and attendees demographics.
Within the Connect platform, both sides can connect and communicate with each other to schedule show floor meetings and demonstrations to drive those business connections and ROI. With a detailed personalized schedule/calendar any attendee and exhibitor will be sure to make the right business connections and attain profitable ROI.
Social Photo Booth
A fun, engaging, and social technology tool that is sure to breathe life to your event. A great engagement tool to help bring out the uniqueness in all of your attendees. By creating this personalized feel with the photo booth, your attendees become emotionally connected and that is true engagement. Pixe Social photo booth’s engagement does not end on the show floor. With it’s one of a kind true real time social media posts and engagement, Pixe Social photo booth keeps your event alive well after the closing bell. With so many different activations and ways to use Pixe Social photo booth, you will be sure to keep your attendees’ attention and engagement year after year.
Stop by booth 222 at ASAE Springtime in Washington DC to see both of these engagement and ROI tools in action and discuss with me in person the benefits of having profitable ROI and engagement strategies at your event.
