At the start of the new year, many people make resolutions, always with the best intentions. Some of them stick, others don’t. To me, it’s not about an annual ritual of resolving something in January that is over by Valentine’s Day. It’s more of a time to make a fresh start. A new beginning.
Had a fight with someone? Let it go and wipe the slate clean. Have you always wanted to learn to speak Italian but haven’t made the time? Seize the day and do it now. Wanting to lead a more healthy lifestyle? What are you waiting for?
You are your own most valuable asset. So make good on your resolutions not because it is a new year’s resolution, but because it’s something you owe yourself. So eat healthy, exercise, learn Italian and improve your relationships. You deserve it.
And while you are at it, why not start working more closely with your project manager at a2z. Be sure you understand everything your system already has in place. It just might free up some of your time to make good on some of those other efforts you owe yourself.
Best wishes to you and yours in 2012!
