In most cases the reason is to achieve better efficiency with their current staff by utilizing technology. We frequently hear things like, “if we could do less paperwork, fewer manual updates and less time compiling reports, we could focus our efforts on growing our show!” Growth is important, but you have to have the right systems in place to get there.
These requirements analysis sessions always prove valuable to both sides of the table. We request to have people from all levels in the meeting – from the decision makers to those who deal with clients on the front line. For the client, sometimes it’s the first time executives will hear that it takes a coordinator three days to do something that could easily be automated.
