Can you identify this brand? If you guessed ChirpE, congratulations, you are correct!
Last Friday, September 14, a2z was the gold sponsor of the IAEE DC Chapter Luncheon. The theme was branding. To increase awareness of the ChirpE brand, we put on a ChirpE Gameshow. This gave us the opportunity to measure the awareness of the ChirpE brand in the audience. For our first question, we showed the image above to everyone in the room and asked who could name the brand. I am proud to say we had quite a few winners. We then shared that ChirpE, launched in 2008, was the first mobile solution in the industry. Since then, we have expanded on ChirpE and created the ChirpE attendee acquisition widget, a tool that increases awareness for event organizers and exhibitors. This activity gave us the opportunity to raise awareness. Now they know.
After a2z’s ChirpE Gameshow, the presentation on effective trade show and conference branding began, featuring speakers from CSG Creative, The Vision Council, and International Sign Association. During this presentation, one of the speakers mentioned that people can always tell when a2z is at an event because a2z team members wear red shirts and red shoes. At the DC Chapter Luncheon, we were in fact wearing our signature red polos with the embroidered a2z logo and our red Chucks or Converse. The speaker’s comment prompted everyone at my table to ask if they could see my shoes, which built more brand recognition. a2z makes it a point to remain consistent with our red attire at trade shows and other industry events. We love the red shirts and shoes because they add more fun to our time on the show floor. The most recent fun addition to the a2z team is a2ZING, our industry comic.
