ChirpE native mobile apps available for iOS and Android devices offer handy tools (pun unintended!) for attendees and exhibitors to plan for and navigate an event. The native apps, as well as the web based version, allow conference attendees to identify sessions of interest, and build a personal schedule of sessions they plan to attend, download handouts, provide feedback and plan personal meetings – all in real-time.
The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) recently offered the ChirpE mobile apps free to their Annual Conference attendees resulting in impressive downloads and user activity.
The native mobile apps and ChirpE web version aided attendees in planning for the educational sessions that they wanted to attend at the Annual Conference. MGMA attendees accessed the educational session information in the mobile app more than 129,000 times and this resulted in 26,354 sessions being added to attendees personalized planners. These personalized itineraries offered easy onsite access to individuals’ schedules and if desired could be synced with individuals’ mobile calendars.
In addition, attendees were able to research exhibitors while on the go and create a list of their favorites to visit when onsite. Exhibitor information was viewed 9,415 times and exhibitors were added to personalized planners 2,445 times.
MGMA used the buzz feature within the mobile app to alert attendees on important event information. This buzz information was viewed 12,562 times by attendees.
The high number of downloads and user activity over the three days of the conference resulted in increased attendee engagement and productivity. We congratulate MGMA on a successful event!
