In a recent blog post, we shared some innovative space selection methods with you. Today, we’d like to highlight the process adopted by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAAE) for their 2015 booth assignments.
IAEE used the a2zShow-powered booth space application process to collect applications from prospective exhibitors over a period of few weeks. They then put the applications in the order of priority points and opened their space draw process. Each exhibitor called in at a predesignated time to go over their booth space selection options. As soon as each exhibitor’s booth location was finalized, the exhibits sales team immediately assigned it to them on the online floor plan.
Streamlining and automating the booth assignment allowed the companies that entered the booth selection process subsequently to see the updated floor plan in real-time, making the process efficient for the management as well as the exhibitors.
