In July 2015, the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) held their annual Professional Development Training (PDT). PDT is the go-to-event for government financial professionals from federal, state and local agencies, as well as academia and the private sector, offering valuable training and networking. The event presented many opportunities ranging from exposure to the latest technological advances and insights & best practices. PDT attendees maximized their conference experience using the ChirpE mobile event app solution.
76% of PDT participants reached via the promotional campaign downloaded the mobile app and instantly gained access to powerful planning tools. The app not only improved their efficiency with tools to manage their conference itinerary and session involvement, but also boosted their event participation with Engage – an app feature that facilitates session Q&A, polling & voting and evaluation feedback.
After the conference, attendees who downloaded the mobile app were invited to take a brief survey on their mobile app usage and event experience. The survey results proved high ROI for event organizers, as well as demonstrated an enhanced attendee experience. 92% of the survey respondents were satisfied with the app and 83% of respondents used the Session Q&A (Engage) feature to interact with presenters.
