1/100 of an Inch Accuracy
Yup, you read that correctly. That is how accurate the a2z floor plan solution is and, General Service Contractors absolutely love it! You may not realize it, but starting with a precisely accurate floor plan and keeping it that way is extremely important. The last thing, as a show organizer, you want to worry about is showing up at your exhibit hall and seeing random booths jutting out a foot into the aisles. See, when you drag and drop and move your booths around the digital floor without an accurate vector based grid as a guide, you tend to incorporate a lot of inconsistencies that pile up fast. Unless you are a major league baseball pitcher, I am going to say the system is going to be more accurate than you.
Why do GSCs love this? The ability to easily pull real-time, accurate, vector based floor plans directly from your a2z system saves the GSC a ton of time in having to redraw the drawings just to avoid those pesky jutting booths. So, remember this the next time you ask your GSC for an updated large print floor plan and you aren’t using a floor plan management system that is 1/100 of an inch accurate!

PCI Compliance is not a new one, but a number of event floor plan technology solutions that also provide financial and invoicing options are not up to code, so to say. The answer to the question above should be, “Nope, but I know my event tech partner is PCI compliant.”
Nowadays, if you aren’t PCI compliant… then you simply aren’t compliant, and you shouldn’t be running your exhibitors’ credit cards through that system. If you do, you may be opening yourself up to a world of pain if there is a data breach or malicious attack on your system. Think about it this way, would you run your personal credit card through a system you knew was vulnerable? I think not.
